Here at South Carolina Association of Physicians of Indian Origin, we are driven by the goal to create a network among physicians of Indian origin in South Carolina and have a platform to engage in community work. We envision a group that would positively impact the future students aspiring to become medical students and to provide guidance to medical students and residents. We aspire to get our group involved in governmental and legislative activities as well. As physicians, we have a strong educational background and since we have a common link of coming from Indian heritage, we can utilize that in a positive way to have a healthy and powerful impact on the community.
